Using the Data
User Connectivity
ETS Connect UK disseminates post-trade bond data from contributors, which is validated, consolidated and enriched with timestamps and a data quality indicator before disseminating to users and redistributors.
Output Formats
UK bond CT data will be made available in a Production environment from 22 June 2026 using presentation methods that support both machine and human readability, as close to real time as technically possible. To accommodate different types of users, the data will be disseminated in Non-Display and Display formats, including:
Display Data:
- A graphical user interface (GUI) to allow for straightforward human interpretation.
Non-Display Data:
- API
- A Comma-Separated Values (CSV) format.
API Access
ETS Connect UK strongly supports open standards for connectivity that are aligned with established industry practices. We reject the use of optional proprietary APIs and will exclusively adopt the FIX Trading Community’s Recommended Practices for the UK Bond Consolidated Tape as our sole API.
The User FIX Rules of Engagement (RoE) and the Connectivity Guide provide visibility of the technical and operational framework governing access to the UK bond CT data. The RoE sets out detailed requirements covering connectivity, duplicate handling, resilience expectations, and permitted data use.
User Acceptance Test (UAT) Environment
The UAT environment is available from 13 April 2026 to Enterprise users and Redistributors to test API connectivity only.
Please see the User Onboarding page for more details.
