ETS Connect UK’s decision-making is strengthened by a Consultative Committee that plays a key role in guiding our operations. The Committee acts as an external source of expertise and objective advice, offering recommendations on operations of the UK bond CT.
The Committee provides a structured channel for feedback, allowing members to share views and suggestions from their communities directly with ETS Connect UK. For issues that require a closer look – such as data quality – the Committee can form smaller subcommittees to discuss these topics in depth.
The Committee will meet regularly, with ad hoc meetings arranged when urgent issues arise. The Committee is made up of 20 members (including the chair), with membership rules set out in the Committee’s Charter. To keep everyone informed, recordings of their meetings are made public.
Members were selected via an open procedure based on their domain expertise, experience, authority, capacity and ability to make recommendations to ETS Connect UK. The key aim was to ensure a proportionate representation of UK bond CT stakeholders.
