Licence Types and Fees

User Types

• Individual – one login for use by a single person for professional, investment, analytical or other purposes.
• Enterprise – unlimited internal access, permitted to create value-added and derived services. Fees are tiered by revenue.
• Redistributor – allows onward distribution of unaltered data to unlimited chain of end-users (which can include other redistributors).
• Academic / Non-Commercial – one login for use of historical data only, free of charge, for research purposes.
• Retail – one login for use by a single person, free of charge, for purposes unconnected to a trade, business or profession. A Retail user is not an Individual or Academic user.

User Data Licence Types

Real-Time Data Licence

Provides access to the live data stream of consolidated post-trade bond data.

Historical Data Licence

Provides access to the full historical dataset, updated daily with corrections, cancellations and amendments.

Annual Fees 2026-2027

Below is an overview of the ETS Connect UK user licence types, and the associated Year 1 annual fees for accessing data and support services in the production environment from 22 June 2026.

¹ Enterprise tiering is based on annual revenue of the organisation.

² Fees only applicable if user does not have an existing data licence.

³ 24/5 Support will be provided by ETS Connect UK free of charge until 4 January 2027. Following this, Accredited Partners will provide support solutions in line with ETS Connect UK’s Accredited Partner programme.

⁴ All available distribution technologies relevant to the User Type are included in the licence fee.

Redistributors

Key Terms

• Redistributor agreement requires pass-through terms to end-users 
• Firms must redistribute data to end-users via the same licence type as received from the CTP 
• Enterprise licence also required to use CT data internally 
• Enterprise licence also required if CT data is modified for redistribution 

End-User Information and Data Fees

• No fixed fee payable by Redistributors (who don’t use the data internally or modify for redistribution)
• No user fees payable if an end-user already has an existing data licence
• Before enabling an end-user, Redistributor must pay ETS Connect UK the applicable user fees (the amount equivalent to that which the user would have paid had they contracted directly)
  • Note: Redistributor is free to determine the data fees it onward charges its end-users
• Redistributor must send information to ETS Connect UK about end-users at least 7 business days before CT data is provided, using the template below
• ETS Connect Support will determine the fees payable and send the Redistributor a request for payment

Retail

• A Retail licence type has been introduced to establish a distinct Retail category, clearly separated from Individual and Academic / Non-Commercial users. This supports the FCA’s expectations for free, non-commercial retail access
• The Order Form and Redistributor licence agreement have been updated to reflect the introduction of the Retail licence type option
• The Academic / Non-Commercial licence agreement has been updated to clarify that use of the data is solely for non-commercial research purposes (including academic research)
