UK bond Consolidated Tape reaches 100% Market Coverage
ETS Connect UK, the UK’s appointed bond Consolidated Tape Provider (CTP), today announced that the UK bond Consolidated Tape (CT) has now reached 100% market coverage. Following the onboarding of the final contributor, every UK trading venue and Approved Publication Arrangement (APA) within the regulatory scope of the tape now contributes data to the service.
Contributor coverage now stands 100% by notional trade value, up from 98% at launch on 22 June 2026. All contributors are now connected and providing data to the production environment. The completion of onboarding means users of the tape will now receive a single consolidated view of post-trade activity.
“Reaching 100% contributor coverage is a significant milestone in the development of the tape. To have reached comprehensive coverage within just two months of launch is remarkable, and testament to the commitment and considerable work of all of our data contributors. This has been a genuinely collaborative effort and represents an important step forward for UK bond market transparency.” – Sassan Danesh, CEO at ETS Connect UK.
Next steps for the UK bond CT
The next milestone for the service is the opening of applications for the CTP’s Accredited Partner Programme (as of 17 August 2026) and firms are encouraged to apply to the programme to provide support to clients within a shared established framework by the CTP.
ETS Connect UK is committed to continuing to improve the service, focusing initially on service stabilisation and then a nine-month optimisation phase during which additional data quality checks will be introduced and existing algorithms refined against the growing historical dataset.
